Allah, the Most High said:

“And Verily, you (O Muhammad) are on an exalted standard of character” [Al-Qalam: 4]

This work covers the ethics of eating, marriage and companionship, earning a living, travelling, enjoying the good and staying away from sin and evil deeds, as well the rulings on music and singing. It ends with heartfelt advice from our righteous predecessors and illustrates the beautiful character of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).

For a Muslim, nobility of character is sought from the Qur’an and Sunnah, according to the understanding of the Salaf.  True servitude to Allah, the Most High, is to adhere to the principles, fundamentals and etiquette that are based upon the teachings of Islam with complete submission to Allah and His final Messenger, Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him).Curing the character and uncontrolled lust is of utmost importance in any individual’s life. For this reason it is imperative that the believer seeks to apply the teachings of our righteous predecessors, who were at the pinnacle of ethics and nobility. Their equilibrium in every matter related to faith, character and manners is a shining example for all those that would like to tread in their footsteps.
